Brantley,

It looks like that URL references your old username [email protected] instead of [email protected] ...

https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/personal/brantley_cooper_auroragreatfalls_com/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7BAECF8256-D2F0-457F-81CF-3D75989CB596%7D&file=Book%202.xlsx&action=editnew&mobileredirect=true&wdNewAndOpenCt=1742575897423&ct=1742575898335&wdOrigin=OFFICECOM-WEB.START.NEW&wdPreviousSessionSrc=HarmonyWeb&wdPreviousSession=d8274fc9-b014-439f-9a52-fcd028a3aba9&cid=e7b4c1f7-5703-4cdf-9dd7-e2e481917564

Your best bet would be to navigate to the file via OneDrive on the desktop, or the web https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/ .

If the file is shared among folks at FPM, it should be relocated to an appropriate SharePoint. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers.Peet

Brantley,

I think I may not have communicated the issue clearly. This file exists in your OneDrive. You have full access to your OneDrive. Your OneDrive can be accessed here: https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/. Click the link and then find the file.

From what I can work out without the current file's name and just the link you provided. The file has been renamed from "Book 2.xlsx" to "Arc Internal Key Manifest.xlsx" and it's currently in your OneDrive "Documents" folder.

Please let me know if you need more information to find the file.

Thanks.Peet

Brantley,

I'm not sure what URL you're using when you're getting the 404 error you sent in your screen shot.

If it's the URL below, that makes perfect sense, because it references a username that no longer exists:
https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/personal/brantley_cooper_auroragreatfalls_com/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7BAECF8256-D2F0-457F-81CF-3D75989CB596%7D&file=Book%202.xlsx&action=editnew&mobileredirect=true&wdNewAndOpenCt=1742575897423&ct=1742575898335&wdOrigin=OFFICECOM-WEB.START.NEW&wdPreviousSessionSrc=HarmonyWeb&wdPreviousSession=d8274fc9-b014-439f-9a52-fcd028a3aba9&cid=e7b4c1f7-5703-4cdf-9dd7-e2e481917564

If it's https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/, then there is a larger issue. Below are the steps to access your OneDrive online. If the steps fail for you, please let me know at what step you have an issue.

Here is a screen recording of the steps to access your personal OneDrive and then how to access your documents folder where the file is.

https://screenshot.artichoke.consulting/0XXPT0Hk2fMb3jdfCx6K

In the recording, I'm logged in as FPMAdmin, so the file is, of course, not in FPMAdmin's Document's folder, but the steps to reach the file are ...

- Navigate to https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/
- Click "My Files"
- Click "Documents"
- Locate "Arc Internal Key Manifest.xlsx" and open

It looks like you have OneDrive Document and Desktop redirection enabled on your computer, so another method of access should be to open the "Documents" folder on your Mac and locate "Arc Internal Key Manifest.xlsx" and open it.

Let me know how that works for you.

That’s what I am trying to say. I have clicked the saved link, I have gone through the drive directly, and still I get the same error each time. I cannot access it at all.

Happy to jump on your computer with you to see what you see. Would now be a good time?

After creating the tempoarry access credential required to sign in a you, I am able to access the file as you via a browser. I was wrong about it being in your "Documents" folder. It's located in the root of your OneDrive.

And to be clear, it is expected for this link to fail:

https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/personal/brantley_cooper_auroragreatfalls_com/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7BAECF8256-D2F0-457F-81CF-3D75989CB596%7D&file=Book%202.xlsx&action=editnew&mobileredirect=true&wdNewAndOpenCt=1742575897423&ct=1742575898335&wdOrigin=OFFICECOM-WEB.START.NEW&wdPreviousSessionSrc=HarmonyWeb&wdPreviousSession=d8274fc9-b014-439f-9a52-fcd028a3aba9&cid=e7b4c1f7-5703-4cdf-9dd7-e2e481917564

Your username has been changed from "[email protected]" to "[email protected]". The path described by the above link no longer exists and would only function if your username was changed back.

That said, the file associate with that link is alive and well at https://farranmgmt-my.sharepoint.com/. Follow that link, then click "My Files". scroll down and you'll see the file you're looking for.

You can just close this out. If I change auroragreatfalls in the URL to arcgreatfalls it gives me access. I will just change the bookmark.

Brantley,

That is one way to access it and the method I used to find the file's current name and location. I did not recommend that method as it doesn't allow you to actually "see" where the file is located and how and where you have saved it.

At some point all business data needs to be located in a SharePoint and not in employee OneDrive. I'm sorry if the instructions on how to access your files without using a direct link weren't helpful.

I'll reach out to Liz and se how she'd like to organize FPM data going forward.

Cheers.Peet
