Good afternoon,

I am trying to Edit a PDF in the Adobe installed yesterday, but after logging in under the license info Brantley gave me, it is prompting me to install Adobe Acrobat Pro to use the features I am trying to use. This is the page it is sending me to: [Download Acrobat 64-bit for Windows](https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/download-64-bit-installer.html)

Thank you.

Lauren

Lauren,

I'm sorry for the confusion, but I do not have any information about an Adobe Acrobat DC Pro subscription. If you have a subscription for "[email protected]" (or one that is not in use by another person), you can install Adobe Creative Cloud from the "Company Portal". After it's installed Adobe Creative Cloud and sign in with your user's Adobe credentials and use the app to install Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.

If you need hands-on assistance, please let me know and we can schedule a time to walk through the steps together.

Cheers.Peet

Good afternoon, Peet,

I have tried 4-5 times to install this from the Company Portal, but at the very end it tells me that installation failed. Sorry to bother you with this. Can you help?

Thank you,

Just recording our chat here:

[12:48] Peet McKinney has joined the chat session.

[12:48] Peet McKinney: Looks like this license is for Brantley’s account does not have a license.

[12:49] Peet McKinney: So we’re on the same page. What do you need to do with PDF’s that requires an Adobe Acrobat Pro DC license?

[12:51] Peet McKinney: Sorry that first sentence was garbled. You are signed into Adobe Creative Cloud with Brantley’s credentials. That account does not have a Adobe Acrobat Pro DC license associated with it.

[12:52] Peet McKinney: So to get on the same page and make sure you have the tools you need, what do you have to do with PDF’s that requires Adobe Acrobat Pro?

[12:53] Peet McKinney: sorry didn’t realize the screen was blank!

[12:54] LaurenHill: Edit PDF's by adding and removing pages, adding signature blocks and executing digital signatures, converting PDF's to word documents or excel, things of that nature.

[12:54] LaurenHill: I have only been here 10ish days so I'm not sure what could come up in the future, but that is what I have run into so far.

[12:55] LaurenHill: I have a Adobe pro license login that brantley gave me

[12:55] Peet McKinney: Let me show you really quick about the current user/license

[12:57] Peet McKinney: My mistake Brantley does have acrobat pro

[12:57] Peet McKinney: One moment.

[12:59] Peet McKinney: can those please be closed

[13:06] Peet McKinney: okay, that should allow you to install Brrantley’s copy of Acrobat Pro.

[13:07] Peet McKinney: The issue here being licensing. You’re not allowed to run Brantley’s copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro becase Adobe uses a Named licensing model.

[13:09] Peet McKinney: There is no technical limitation, only a licensing one. I’ll install it for you now as brantley then I’ll reach out to Liz to discuss your licensing.
