Hi Peet,

I can’t pair my keyboard without downloading Logitech software and I do not have permissions to download it.

Can you help me?

Disregard. I used my personal computer to fix the issue.

Brantly,

I'm confused how your personal computer could be used to solve this issue. But I'm happy to hear that it's resolved.

As for the app "Logi Options+", it is not required to pair a macOS (or Windows) computer with a Logitech keyboard or mouse, either via a Bluetooth connection or a Unifying or Bolt USB receiver. Nor can it manage the devices associated with/connected to a Unifying or Bolt USB receiver.

"Logi Options+" is available to install from the "Managed Software Center.app" installed in /Applications on your Mac. Here's a direct link to the install page in MSC.app ... munki://detail-LogiOptionsPlus.html

Unifying or Bolt USB receivers can be managed via a browser on both macOS and Windows cmoputers at this URL ... https://logiwebconnect.com/

Please let me know if you have any other questions about Logitech wireless accessories.

Cheers.Peet

Hi Peet,

I have the orange starburst thing and could download the software to pair. I left my original dongle usb at another property.

Brantly,

The "orange starburst thing" is a Unifying USB Receiver. You can manage the devices it's paired with via this website: https://logiwebconnect.com/ . There is no software installation required to manage a Unifying USB Receiver ("orange starburst thing") or a Bolt USB Receiver (green lightning bolt)

Peet,

It makes you download the software. Which I cannot do because of the protections.

Also, while we’re on the subject, when can you remove your protections from the key computer? Gina approved this some time ago and it is stopping business at several points.

Can we set a time for you take control of the computer to remove the protections?
