#36565 Assistance needed with Dormakoba

Hi Peet,

I am having issues again with the dormakaba and was hoping you can help me out. Each time I try to read a key or make a key, I get this error code below: The system is plugged in correctly, I've tried restarting my computer as well as the fob machine but nothing works. I saw online it could be a software update on my computer causing this. Can you please help?

Gladis,

Just noting all that we went over on monday, I reinstalled the software on another windows 11 computer and had the same issue. I created a windows 10 Virtual machine, reinstalled and the issue persists. At the moment, the issue seems to be the hardware encoder for the keys ... or possibly a component like the powersupply or the usb cable. Neither of those rise to the level of at all likely, but it's technically possible.

Were you able to contact the fellow in TX?

Hi Peet,

Yes, I spoke with Darrel and he recommended replacing the encoder as well. We have placed an order and a new one will be delivered early next week.
