Hi Peet, I am desperately trying to wrap up the powerpoint presentation for our annual meeting tomorrow morning at 7 AM. Suddenly, I am not able to open a video file I’ve opened dozens of times. I can’t download it, I can’t open the original project, I have tried every avenue to open it so that I can compress it to include in the final presentation. No luck. Then, as a last ditch effort, I tried to open our YouTube account and I’m being told my sign-in settins don’t meet my organization’s 2-step verification policy and to contact my admin for more. This has never happened before when I logged into youtube and I understand the need for increased security, but I would’ve loved to have found this out any other time than unexpectedly the night before our biggest event of the year. I know the odds are slim you can do anything about any of this in time, but I thought I’d raise the flag anyway. Chelsea, Im lost on the order of events here. Where is the video located? If you install VLC from Managed Software Center.app, can VLC play the file? I don’t know what MFA requirement you’re running into, but you could use a consumer google account to embed this file in you tube. Can you make sure the video is in your one drive and check if it plays on the one drive web hi? Does embedding it from Onedrive directly in the Open menu in PowerPoint allow it to work?

Chelsea, I spent a good amount of time trying to look up information about your google workspace. It looks like the administrative username and password has been changed and I do not have access to it. So any requirements that have been changed or set on the workspace account are outside of my control. I’ll check with Grant to see if he has any idea who might have changed the password and added a passkey and didn’t save it in the 1Password in the correct location. Hope your presentation goes well peet
