I'm trying to get the ICS link for the "BSBCo Events Calendar" in our Outlook to add to a google calendar that the taproom uses. I'm trying to follow the steps from Microsoft's support: in outlook on the web [Outlook (office.com)](https://outlook.office.com/mail/) > Click on Settings > View all Outlook settings > Open Calendar > Shared Calendars >In the “Publish a calendar” section, choose the calendar you want to share (if you’ve only got one Calendar set up it will just be called “Calendar”), select “Can view all details” in the second dropdown, and click “Publish.” This will create two links: an HTML link and an ICS link. The HTML link allows people to view your calendar in a browser and the ICS link will enable people to import your calendar into their calendar program. My settings do not have a "View all Outlook settings". Nor can I find, even when searching, a "shared Calendars" setting. I've done this before with other accounts and have never run into this problem. Is there a block on that for my account from an admin or something? Sharing calendars outside of an org. is disabled by default on M365 tenants I manage. I've configured the tenant to allow sharing outside of the org for now but it's best practice to limit external sharing to accounts that , but if your user ([email protected]) doesn't own "BSBCo Events Calendar" you won't be able to share/publish the calendar regardless. I don't see a Group or shared mailbox that would contain this calendar. What user or group owns the calendar? If this is a calendar that is not the sole responsibility of a single user and can be deleted if that person moves on or retires, then we should this into an M365 Group that's owned by the user(s) responsible for maintaining it. Can we set up an outlook account / email address for the taproom then? - that way they no longer have to use an outside of organization email account (in this case, a generic gmail account) to try and manage their business? - then I can share the events calendar and whatever else within the organization to the taproom team, and you don't have to do any out of the ordinary permissions for my account? [email protected] would be perfect if we can do that Quincy Walker Special Events Manager P: 406-781-1233 Big Sky Brewing Co. 5417 Trumpeter Way Missoula, MT 59808 Web: [www.bigskybrew.com](http://www.bigskybrew.com/) [embedded image] --------------------------------------------------------------- From: Artichoke Support - Peet <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2025 3:08 PM To: Quincy Walker <[email protected]> Subject: Sharing a Calendar in Outlook (message id: 99486082)

Ooof, this is a can of worms and absolutely I'd like to get the Taproom back on track. This will likely take a bit of conversation to unpack. I left a message for you a bit ago feel free to give me a buzz at 406.880.8810 Cheers.Peet
