Hi Peet,

I need Adobe Reader installed on my workstation to complete some federal government grant forms. I specifically need Reader for this because they've embedded some forms inside another form, which I can only open with Reader apparently.

Just use "Managed Software Center.app" in your applications and choose to install it from there. Here's a direct link to the install .... munki://detail-AdobeReader.html

I can see that "AdobeReader-25.001.20529.dmg" is currently being downloaded to the Managed Installs Cache folder for Managed Software update. Is this different from the other times you've tried?

As an aside, your previous reply sounds like you might not have received my "Tue 09-02-25 04:57 PM" response:

Just use "Managed Software Center.app" in your applications and choose to install it from there. Here's a direct link to the install .... munki://detail-AdobeReader.html

This is what the managed software looks like for me when I try to install it - it will say install requested, try to update, then not currently available.

I can see that's currently downloading about 350MB of 635MB of the installer.

The Updates tab shows you what Managed Software Center.app is currently doing/would like to do with your software.

That tracks with what I'm seeing. It's downloading the software to be install. I'm not sure why its downloading so slowly. I just tested the installation on my computer and it downladed in ~45 seconds.

Your networkQuality:

Are similar ... Infact your's is testing better than mine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Regardless, the installer is now downloaded, so check your Updates section to finish the install.
