Begin forwarded message: From:Kit Fischer <[email protected]> Subject:Outlook Calendar Sharing Permission Date:June 17, 2025 at 11:07:38 AM MDT To:"[email protected]" <[email protected]> Hey Peet, Are you able to change the permissions on my end so I can share my calendar (outside the Org) with my wife? I attempted and it said I don’t have permission to do so. It does not appear that is something I can change on my end. With kids schedules this will greatly improve my life. Thanks, Kit [embedded image]

Kit, I'll check with Boston about the FVLT policy for sharing calendars externally. Does your wife have a Microsoft 365 for Business Exchange Online account? What's the domain for her M365 business account? Cheers.Peet

Boston, Here's a request from Kit: Hey Peet, Are you able to change the permissions on my end so I can share my calendar (outside the Org) with my wife? I attempted and it said I don’t have permission to do so. It does not appear that is something I can change on my end. With kids schedules this will greatly improve my life. Thanks, Kit Calendar sharing is off by default for baseline security. How would you like to handle calendar sharing for your organization? Here are your GLOBAL choices: [embedded image] You can also "Let your users share their calendars with people outside of your organization who have Office 365 or Exchange" and then set targeted policies about which domains and what information you can share to, or be as specific as allowing Kit to share "Show all calendar appointment information" with the specific domain that hosts his Wife's M365 account. This is all assuming that his wife has an M365 Business hosted email. If she does not then this specific issue is moot. Cheers.Peet

Hey Peet, I am alright authorizing them being able to share externally, but only times and if they are "busy/free". I don't want subjects/meeting names/locations to be shared externally. Thanks for running it by me. Okay, as configured now, all of FVLT can share Free/Busy with any domain that can accept the invitation. Any issues allowing Kit's account only to share more with his wife's domain? I would think that would a safe choice. Peet
