Hi Peet,

My house went through a power loss for a brief moment today and now I can not access files. Can you log in and see if something is wrong?

Thank you,

Liz,
I'm sorry. I saw your network devices go offline, then come back yesterday, but I missed your request. Are your computers and network currently functioning as expected?

Cheers.Peet

I think it eventually worked itself out. I did a restart and that seemed to help, I was just worried about something getting corrupted.

Good to hear. I think you're in okay shape. There is a UPS (CyberPower battery backup) that the NAS and network devices are plugged into. It should look like this:

If your computer can plug into it as well, you should be able to weather brown outs and short power failures.

Hi Peet,

The device you referenced below just made a really long beep and then shut everything down. I did not lose power so not sure what is going on.

Hmmm. Could you please turn it back on and send me the model number? I'm wondering if it's battery is failing and it's not passing a selfcheck ....

It did reboot on its own. Just an FYI. Pictures on its way from my phone.

Is it beeping at all? Since the BATT. Capacity isn't showing anything on the graph; I'm guessing the battery has failed. Here's a replacement battery set:https://www.amazon.com/12V-Replacement-Battery-CyberPower-LX1500G/dp/B0195CDMBM

Here's a fellow replacing the battery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGWUr6Nsths

Thanks.Peet

It was just a really long beep when it shut down and restarted. I ordered the new battery.

Thank you,
