Hey Man.. Any chance to look at moms login problem? Any suggestions on deals on touch screen monitors and a couple more basic boxes. I know you had thought about the chromecast OS, don't know if that has changed at all, but I'll need at least one box to start with. Over all I'd need 4 stations with touch screens and full setups for designers. I could use the back of shop box for one of them, and probably get ride of middle north or south. Once we have those stations up and running we don't need as many sitting all around. But I'd like at least two monitors and boxes I could set things up with out using up anything we have now. Then decide what to do. So, any suggestions on that would be appreciated! I also need some mounting arms, etc that would help keep things up off the work areas, if you have any ideas there. Kill me now. I'm still fucking dealing with that client that won't pay and has been awful ... it's just insane what it's doing to my productivity. That said the chrome OS turned out to be a management nightmare. If everyone had their own Chromebook, that could sort of work but there's just not any sort of benefit to justify. Since these are so minimal on the requirements, we can go with the same computers you already Dell micro 7070's with i5-8600 CPU (65W), 16GB, ram, 265GB SSD (the SSD's may want to be swapped out for something else cheap because at this age the bottom-tier ssd's they put in these can start being flakey). I have a few of these kicking around as well as a few with i5-9500T (35W) processors. (the slightly newer i5-9500T (35W) is about 18-20% slower benchmark, but "feels" almost identical in normal operation). We should be able to get these in the $200-$250 range. This dell touch display is virtually identical to every other 23/24" touch display from HP, Lenovo, Vewsonic, etc. But this particular seller has them for a great price and sticking with the same manufacuter looks nice, if nothing else ... https://www.ebay.com/itm/126738820446 They've sold 2 since yesterday, but still have 5 left. How did you want to get started? Cheers.Peet

Where is your mom's computer BTW. The network there is *fucking* weird. Here computer is upgrading to Windows 11 right now, but I had to disable IPv6 and set her DNS servers to cloudflare's. The router's DNS was blocking access to the Windows 11 upgrade. Crazy stuff ... it was incredibly effective though. Cheers.Peet
