Brandon,

I can work on scripting and automation for migrating AGMSO's "Syncro devices" from my Syncro tenant to yours next week. Ensuring my agent is fully purged was an issue for both Alpha and AG-SysAdmin. Simply uninstalling my agent and attempting to install yours caused errors during the install process.

The macOS Agent is more straight-forward, but will need to be configured in their MDM, Mosyle.

Could you provide URL's for both the Windows (msi) and macOS agent installer for your tenant.

Cheers.Peet

Brandon,

These devices should be migrated from my Syncro to yours. The macs were straight forward, but a few This was a bigger lift than expected, for the Windows boxes. There were several issues with the removal and reinstallation of the agent. For your notes:

Make sure to remove the following directory. I had several devices that had a cached installer.exe file in that directory which caused the MSI installation to fail

rmdir "C:\Windows\Installer\$PatchCache$\Managed\D3D65F7B3DA21204D963B3E9C9F9EB33" /s /q
Make sure to completely remove the RepairTech registry key:

reg delete HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node\RepairTech\ /f

Use IIS Crypto (https://www.nartac.com/Products/IISCrypto/Deprecated) on any Win 7/Server 2008 device. Set to best practices, then enable these two ciphers:
TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 and TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256. Then reboot.

Amazing, thank you so much and I apologize for this being a bigger lift then expected. I can see all the assets on my end. Thank you for sharing those notes with me as well.

I am noticing that the Alpha Server and the sysadmin server are showing as offline? did the script impact the boxes?

No worries about the agent installer issues. It's a SyncroMSP issue. Too bad I can't send the bill for it to them :D. They're miserable about cleaning up documentation or rewriting their scripts when given new info.

AG-SysAdmin and Alpha both had the Syncro agent removed. I'm not sure where they were caught with the uninstall script, but they're back online now.
