Hi Peet,

We have an intern here for the summer, Oliver Beck. Grant and I had discussed not getting him a MEP email since he is only here for a small amount of time, but we would like to add him to our Teams. Is this possible with his personal or school email?

Let me know, thanks!

Guest users can absolutely be invited to your Teams. Just click the three dots by your team and "Add member". Then enter the guest's non-MEP email address and choose to invite them as a guest.

Please keep in mind that they will have access to your entire Team until you remove their access.

Below are screen shots from your tenant.

Great! When I do this and type in Oliver’s email, it says they cannot find any matches. When I go to the add member page, I don’t see anything about adding as a guest.

Hmmmm, I cannot seem to find any setting that would be limiting your ability to invite guests. Could you provide the intern's email address?

Thanks.Peet

[email protected] or [email protected]

Either works. I don’t have the ability to see our admin settings so I can’t see if the guest access setting is turned on. But it will only let me add people with the missoulapartnership.com email. I see that you are in there as a guest, however.

To be able to invite guests to a Team your user must be an owner of the team. Below is a screenshot of the current membership and ownership of the Team. Please remove or add any Owners as needed. Any owner can invite a new guest user.
