Subject: Malware/viruses Description: I have recieved a couple of McAfee messages on my machine saying they have detected malware or viruses and one saying the payment to my McAfee subscription didn't process, but I don't know if we subscribe to McAfee or not? Can you take a look. The messages have been on my notifications that pop up on my computer. I didn't click on any of them. Thanks, Missy

Just noting that this was likely a fake CAPTCHA designed to trick you into clicking allow for notifications from a rouge site that then pushed notifications to scare you into contacting them to provide payment information and swipe $$$.

Keep in mind that legitimate CAPTCHA's should never be in a pop up window or a dialog box, but embedded on the page.
