I’m trying to use the office screen. I’m also getting login problems. The first time it said I timed out. The second time it asked for Authenticator and after entering number and yes, it looped back to start login. The third time I tried it said I was temporarily locked out. This seems to be happening to everyone. A lot. We are using our correct passwords. Thanks. Sent from my phone

I believe the issue here is that there was a bug in the version of the login window that installed on computer. If you type your password and hit return too quickly the process updates your local password with your existing password minus the last character. So, if your password was "Password1" it becomes "Password" on the local machine. Then all sorts of insanity ensues. I worked with the developer to fix the issue, but for some reason your devices were not up to date. I've pushed the update and it should no longer be an issue. The time out on the login window is expected. There are three ways to approach the Microsoft Authentication window time out. One is to not display the loginwindow until a user clicks a "begin login" button. This one is the most intrusive as it adds a step even when it's not needed. The other is to display the window and expect that someone will login before the timeout. This one can be confusing as the user isn't informed of the timeout until after attempting to Auth. This was the developer's original/only option. The third is to automatically refresh the login window for device just short of the timeout for the login. This should likely be the best compromise, but if a person is in the middle of logging in and the refresh is triggered, they'll have to begin their login process over. This was added in a recent build and I'll enable the feature for it when I find the undocumented timeout period for the MS Authentication screen. Let me know if you have any further issues with authentication on the Display mini. Thanks.Peet
