Good morning Peet. I've set a meeting on your calendar for Monday morning at 10:30 am so we can discuss turning off some licenses, downgrading some, how our MS logins will work going forward and maybe a timeframe for winding down our in-house server. Thanks. ~jb -- * JohnBelobraidic P A R T N E R S C R E A T I V E 603 Woody Street Missoula, Montana 59802 406 541 2263 [partnerscreative.com](http://partnerscreative.com/)

Quick notes: From you: - List of computers to keep/decom - List of your "find a nice home" displays and/or anything else. I'm pretty sure I know a home for the sit/stand desk could you send model # - List of hardware for Recyling (mostly for Malcom/Izzy to have a kick around game computer(s)) From me: - Reduce billable FTE to 9 - 2 x 2TB (or 1TB should even work) NVME SSD Gen3 to put VM's on in the Synology: https://www.amazon.com/Timetec-Gen3x4-Performance-Internal-Desktop/dp/B09FS8XFKD - Of the shares (Archive, DigiBox, Installers, Management, Photo_RAW, Server1, Server2, and SysAdmin) what actually needs to be backed up? Digibox is 8.7TB and I'm sure could be excluded (and dumped to external disk) the entity of psrv "shares" looks to be ~4.1 TB so that would be at most 5TB of c2 storage for ~$350/yr. I think it may be worth spinning up a C2 storage demo and seeing where it lands. Thoughts? - Spin up a PAR-Sysadmin on the Synology. - Prepare the Synology to take over filesharing and Cloudflare Tunnel duty and switch in Feb. - Upgrade HV01 and HV02 to server 2016 or above to pull full backups over to Synology. 2012 doesn't allow for the HV servers to be backed up by the Synology but the upgrade should be swift. - Backup Digibox with Synology backup agent - After full backups of HV01 and HV02 are pulled, as well as Digibox, decom all local servers. - Work with JB to migrate Synology to home network. Cheers.Peet

Here's my list of which machines to decommission and which to keep, at least for another month. The actual number is 8 FTE. FYI - Karri at the bottom is a freelancer, not FTE. Attached JPG: Red squares = decommission. Anytime from next week on is fine for turning these loose. List of recycling: 1 - 2016 15" MBPro (not yet wiped, needs battery) 1 - 2016 15" MBPro (wiped w/ fresh install of OS 12) 1 - 2015 15" MBPro 1 - 2015 13" MB Pro 1 - white 2006 MacBook :) LOADED with 2Gb RAM and OS 10.4.1 Will let you know when Leta decides she can't sell the arms w/ monitors and it's time to give them away. ~jb On Mon, Jan 22, 2024 at 1:15 PM Artichoke Support - Peet <[email protected]> wrote:
