With Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, it’s time for every business that sends marketing email to shift their focus to February, and the new email delivery requirements coming from Yahoo and Google. The countdown to February has begun - and anyone who doesn’t adhere to the new guidelines published by Yahoo and Google will face an uphill and potentially painful battle to reach their customers via email.

- As a reminder, the new requirements for those sending more than 5,000 marketing messages a day include:
- Authenticate all marketing messages with DMARC
- Send from a domain with a DMARC policy of at least p=none
- Have valid forward and reverse DNS
- Use one-click unsubscribe
- Maintain a low spam rate

While these may seem relatively clear, the best way to be prepared is to leverage Valimail’s platform to see how your mail is authenticating.
