Dear Robin,

Your open ticket for 'Another internet cable hit by the flooring guy.' has been updated.

Here is the latest update.

Went on site and Kiara showed me where the flooring work was done and cable drop coming up from floor into side of office wall. There was no visible damage to that section of cable so I suggested I would likely need to remove the baseboard trim which they were fine with.

I discovered that the cable had been hit and potentially spliced back together as so someone had wrapped it with electrical tape but there was still a cable pair exposed.

Advised Kiara I was going to splice with an RJ 45 Coupler for the sake of billing time and getting them up and running as quickly as possible.

Confirmed phone and PC came back online after completing cable repairs.
