#24523 Network Stuff

Just noting that the new pfSense router is rebuilt. The WiFi networks will need to be reworked.

Is there a great need for wifi clients to reach the server/printers? Well if they need to reach the server/printers from wifi, please have users connect to the WARP client.

Both PAR-Guest and PAR-Staff connect to internet-only networks. If you need something on the PAR LAN, use the WARP client.

Old router is unplugged. I didn't change any settings at all.

I don't have another box so I grabbed an old laptop I had planned to recycle. It picked up .254 over Ethernet

192.168.100.254 is the router and 1000% should not be in the DHCP scope. Are you sure that was the IP?

Yes. They are both configured correctly but something in the switches/AP's is not passing the DHCP requests.

I'm not sure why DHCP isn't flowing, but remotely restarting the switches is a good place to start. I've ensured that DHCP Guard is disabled across the board on the switches as well as IGMP snooping ....

Wait, did you plug in Port 3 on the switch? If not, pleas do and let me know what port it is connected to.

The 3rd port on the router is open. Port 3 on the 48-port switch goes to our alarm box.
