We've hired Noelle's replacement and are wondering if she is also able to have access to Noelle's email. Is this possible?

Hi Peet!!

Apologies for the super weird voicemail earlier today! I was interrupted mid-message and it completely derailed my thought process and ability to articulate.

I sent a message yesterday asking something easy, but later that afternoon we ran into an issue that's proving to be a bigger pain in the arse and it's tied to the first question.

Question #1 was - Could we please connect Noelle's email to Daina? Daina is replacing Noelle and we're thinking it's best for her to have direct access versus putting myself or Mikyla in the center of it.

Question #2 - SIGH. We got Daina access to her new computer this last Friday and at that time got her setup and logged into Microsoft. For reasons unknown, she decided to delete the Authenticator app over the weekend. (Cue my spike in blood pressure.) We've followed all instructions we've found online to try to reconnect the authenticator to the app because she's unable to access her email, but it seems no matter what we do we can't get them reconnected. She can get as far as Microsoft sending the number to Authenticator, but that number seemingly just goes into the void. At this point the only thing I can come up with is that we need to "forget" the device on the backend, but it doesn't appear that I have the permissions to see if that's really the case. Please trust that this will be a 1 time mistake because OMG.

Since I'm clearing building a ticket here, can I pay you all at once and let you know we've also hired 2 more new folk on top of Daina?

Matt Simms will be starting as our Education Manager on September 5th, and Jen Ryan Hickes will be starting as our Development & Marketing Director on September 11th.

I understand that this puts us into a new category of free vs. pay at Microsoft and am totally prepared.

I've added Daina to the shared mailbox "Noelle Huser (Shared)", [email protected] under "Teams & groups" -> "Shared mailboxes" in the M365 admin portal.

I've "Require[d] re-register multi factor authentication" under the "Authentication methods" section of Daina Grand's user in the "Microsoft Entra admin center".

Hiring: Matt Simms will be starting as our Education Manager on September 5th, and Jen Ryan Hickes will be starting as our Development & Marketing Director on September 11th.
I've created both users and added "Microsoft Business Basic for non profit" to both users. This is a light license that allows for Exchange and Sharepoint, but not desktop apps or the host of other features of "Business Premium for nonprofit".

I have a kiddo school meeting at the moment, but will ping about how you'd like to handle Microsoft Licensing going forward as well as Artichoke Consulting billing and Managed IT.

You are the absolute BEST!!!

And this is perfect!! Since our last talk I've gained a much better grasp on our budgets and how much is left in this year's "fire" bucket. We're still a little stuck until the end of this year given that number, but I'm building out next year's budget and have a line item designated for your work (and the use of Microsoft) if you're willing to take us on as a continued/regular client.
