Hi Peet, Could you provide an estimate for the hardware we need plus the setup please? We'll get this moving. Thanks! ~jb -- * JohnBelobraidic P A R T N E R S C R E A T I V E 603 Woody Street Missoula, Montana 59802 406 541 2263 [partnerscreative.com](http://partnerscreative.com/)

I don't see that you've added your time on the estimate for setup. Yup, I missed that in your request. Honestly I'm looking into a black box of sorts on this on. I hate to sound like he Big Lebowski, but "This is a very complicated case, [JB]. You know, a lotta ins, a lotta outs, a lotta what-have-yous. And, uh, a lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head." I want to say it's a 15-20 hour project, but it's likely safer to say something higher. Basically here's the SOW as I understand it: - physical build, update, configure the device including creating all "forever" accounts for Synology - Install/configure virtual machines for a 2022 PAR-DC00 and PAR-SysAdmin - Integrate with AD authentication and Authorization - Replicate shares structure - Design and configure cloning solution (e.g. push/pull, one-way/two-way) - Work through S3 backup solutions, chose wisely, configure and deploy Since we have to kill Kerio Control (and Kerio Control VPN) some secondary goals should be: - Research, test Synology's remote access solutions including Synology Drive Client and/or quickconnect as possible Kerio VPN replacements - Research, test Cloudflare Zero Trust and Warp client as possible Kerio VPN replacements - Research, Unifi Wireguard VPN as posible Kerio VPN replacements (means new unifi router) So think minimum 15-20 for build and then the parallel project of VPN replacement Cheers.Peet

Well, at least we know one thing: the Dude abides. Can you add the first section to the estimate you gave me please? As for the second part, my question is, can we keep the Kerio box and just pay for what we have now? It's only for a year and seems like it would be less than trying to figure out and implement plan B if we can make it work. Resent. I'll check pricing for Kerio, but yes that'd be one fewer thing. Cheers.Peet
