We also added functionality that helps MSPs to manage Blumira Agents, plus the Google Workspace Cloud Connector (in beta) and 6 new detections.

Feature and Platform Updates

Blumira Agent for MSP Customers: MSP account Administrators can self-manage the maximum number of deployable Blumira Agents for their customers to ensure that all deployed agents can connect to Blumira.

Sensor details in the app now include the sensor’s core version, which helps to verify that a sensor is up-to-date.

Beta Google Workspace Cloud Connector: Customers on any paid edition can use Blumira’s Cloud Connector to integrate with Google Workspace, skipping the need for an on-prem sensor to collect Google Workspace logs.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Blank values in the analysis of “Indicator: Microsoft 365 - Suspicious email sending patterns detected” findings were fixed to provide the missing details needed for investigating.

Unusually large amounts of evidence matched to findings was causing the app to crash, so a limit to the number of rows to display was introduced to improve performance.

Minor problems with displaying and sorting elements of the Sensors screen as well as the Findings screen have been fixed.

Filtering the Detection Rules table to show only disabled rules no longer incorrectly includes some enabled rules.

Using the search preset options on the Findings page properly displays the filtered list instead of all findings and users can successfully save the search for reuse.

June Highlight

In case you missed it, in June we released a significant improvement to how we stack events for findings so that we prevent excessive duplication of findings that are related and reduce the noise and burden it can cause.
