Hola, Just letting you know that after looking more at your issue, I came across this: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Wi-Fi-5-AC-Routers/R8000-Router-Ongoing-DNS-Issues/m-p/2189485 It looks like that model of Netgear router is plagued with DNS resolution issues. I won't dive too into the weeds, but what it comes down to is that it doesn't respond to DNS requests on the same protocol that it receives the request on. Maddeningly frustrating when troubleshooting. The final solution was to configure the router to provide communication on IPV6 as well as IPV4. With that setup, your computers don't need to have the DNS servers manually configured in their network settings. I implemented the changes for you last night and tested connectivity. Checking again today, BOOMSWAGER001 resolves "management.saloniris.com" correctly and Daysmart Salon does not appear to be throwing any errors. Cheers.Peet

Test network connectivity on both BOOMSWAGGER001 and BOOMSWAGGER002 Discover BOOMSWAGGER001 functions nearly correctly when connected to WiFi Troubleshoot WiFi Guest, Boom Swagger, and Sonos Speakers wifi networks. Ensure "Boom Swagger" and "Sonos Speaker" SSID's have secure unique passwords. Test single ethernet run (from back of house to reception) determine the run has full continuity. Replace suspect Netgear switch with Unifi Flex Mini 5. Create Boom Swagger customer and adopt into unifi.artichoke.consulting. Roll BOOMSWAGGER001 back to ethernet via Unifi Flex Mini 5. Discover connectivity issues persist. Install GlassWire and monitor Daysmart Salon network connections. Test directly setting DNS to Cloudflare public DNS resolvers. 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. Using Cloudflare DNS fully resolves the issue. Attempt to configure Nighthawk Router DHCP server to provide Cloudflare DNS. Discover it's not possible. Discuss network equipment replacements as well as support and management options moving forward |
