I can't seem to connect to PAR-Private with a 2015 laptop I have for a spare in the office. I've got several people in the office today and tomorrow so I've got them using PAR-Guest and the VPN to get to the server. It was just a screen recording of deleting and adding back the WiFi SSID. When the connection is first made and the cert isn't installed/trusted it shows none. Enter the credentials and it offers to trust the cert. Then connects. ... I gave up and made a new one. Seriously it both were about 11MB service must have been off. Super odd. I really hate it when "bringing the car to the mechanic" gets rid of the behavior. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. When everything is in place (as it has been since I fixed the network issues) this almost always fixes the issue because it clears the 801.11x profile and certificate.
