Hi Peet, They're asking me how much more our subscription will be when we upgrade to SharePoint. Can you give me the subscription cost? I can look up what we're paying now so to calculate the difference. $13.50/user/mo. more. From $8.50/user/mo to $22.00/user/mo this is with a 1yr commitment paid monthly. Microsoft has switched to the "New Commerce Experience" and it's very much a lock in for 1 yr. You can pay with a monthly commitment for $26.40/user/mo or $264.00/user/year. My current recommendation for everyone is to pay yearly or monthly with a yearly commitment for your absolute minimum number of licenses and then have a pool of monthly for the delta churn. For example ... A business has a core of 10 employees. This really isn't going to change ever unless the business closes or something drastic happens. (10x$22x12mo=$2640/yr) During the summer, there's an intern (1x$26.40x4mo=$105.60) Two new employees are hired and on probation for 3mo (2x$26.40x3mo=$158.40) One employee is axed, the other becomes permanent. (11x$22x12mo=$2904/yr) Clear as mud? As an FYI if you want to try to work out a better pricing than Microsoft 365 Business Premium, it doesn't really work out in your favor. The main two things that you need going forward are Azure Active Directory Premium P1 ($6/user/mo) and Microsoft SharePoint-Plan 1 ($6/user/mo). This two thing with Apps for Business and you hit $20.5/mo. $22.00/mo gets you that plus ***Exchange***, Exchange Archiving, Defender for Business, Defender for 365 P1, and Azure Information Protection. I forgot to ask. How much server space does that give us? On Wed, Aug 3, 2022 at 1:39 PM Artichoke Support - Peet wrote:

Well I almost answered that one wrong ... All Sharepoint plans come with 1TB + 10GB per licensed user. So you'd have 1.1TB or so and $200/mo/TB ($0.20/GB/mo). My hope would be that you live within your 1.1TB for SPO. It used to be that you could bump Business plans to 5TB/User for any user when you had more that 5 users on a plan. I believe some changes happened and it's locked to 1TB/User on Sharepoint P1. However you can through a Sharepoint P2 on any user and have unlimited* (5TB easily, but then ask support for more) storage. Cheers.Peet

Seems pretty skimpy for that much money. We'll have to come up with an idea for archiving data off SP but still have access to old jobs. On Wed, Aug 3, 2022 at 3:56 PM Artichoke Support - Peet wrote:

Yup it is skimpy, but it's really for active data. However, a huge portion of your data will be in DAM. Depending how we workflow it, archives can be put into an individual Onedrive with an S2 unlimited license. Cheers.Peet
