Hi Peet, I am trying to restart / shutdown the computer and cannot get any variation of user name and password to let me I think it should be Jan Peissig and my apple pi password. If this is the way into the computer I don’t get why it won’t work. Can you please reach out when you get a chance? DON’t call between 11:30-and 12:30 as Mike is Zooming something. Thank you.

If you can't restart without an admin username and password, it's because Mike is logged in. Ways to restart: • If you log out of your account and log in as Mike, you can just restart. • You can always click the little green lock in a circle in your dock (Privileges.app) and make yourself an admin for a short time. Then use your user (jpi) to authenticate a restart. • Finally you still do have the user named "useradmin" with whatever you made that password. for administrative tasks. Cheers.Peet

I had tried all those ways....except using jpi as user name. It worked with that. At a loss as to what password works with useradmin. Thought it was apple pi. Maybe we can find that when we do all the other stuff. Thanks for your help On Tue, Oct 20, 2020 at 10:17 AM Peet McKinney wrote:
