Hi Peet, Craig with Big Sky Brewing. My Remote Desktop is not functioning, says I have been disconnected because another connection was made to the remote PC.

Craig,

I hope you're feeling okay. I've added your cell phone's @vzwpix.com email address to your support contact so the next time you open a request with a text-to-email it will be associated with you and not burried with untracked domains.

I see your computer at the office as signed in an active. Perhaps your back in the office.

I checked connectivity from your home computer to the office and consistant with what you're reporting, it's able to reach the office computer. I don't want to interrupt your work, but if you'll be away from both computers sometime today I can test the connectivity for you.

Cheers.Peet

Good morning, I’m in the office but very unhealthy! I will be away from both computers by 2:30 this afternoon…..the computer at my home will connect to excel files, etc. on the server so I’m able to work on those without issue. However, the remote desktop connection I use to virtually access CounterPoint and Dynamics software on my office computer is another matter.

Thanks Peet, let me know when I’m good to jump back on the computer(s). Craig

Craig,
Sorry you've stuck having to be at the office. If you could make sure to restart your office computer when you're finished with it, I have a strong feeling that will clear any remote desktop issues from the house, but feel free to ping me when you're getting off the computer at work and I can run throught the connections for you and make sure it's clean.

Cheers.Peet

Craig,
Connectivity looks good. The error message was 100% incorrect. Your new mini computer simpley was not enabled for remote desktop. The settings are now correct and you're good to go.

Feel better.

Cheers.Peet
