Subject: Software, business phone help Description: Hi Peet, I have two issues I need help with. 1. Business phone: we have still not been able to get me set up on the business iphone. I believe our business profile has to be set up or confirmed or something? I cannot sign in with a user id, and that makes it so i cannot dl any apps on the business phone. 2. PDF Xchange Editor: I have access to the program but the license is not set up. I can click to start this process but every time I do, it freezes my computer. I need this program. Is there some time next week or the following week that you can help me with this?

I can absolutely help here. It doesn't look like Jill finished up the setup with Apple, we'll probably need to restart that process, but no worries. I'll get it started on my end and direct jill on the steps

The PDF-XChange should already be licensed for the computer, please do reboot your comptuer when as soon as is convienient as it's been up for a couple weeks and may need a bit of a swift kick to apply the most recent PDF XChange upgrade.

Regardless, please reply here when your back at it on Wednesday (or whenever your computer is up and online), and I'll check the status of your PDF Xchange. If your PDF-Xchange is up to 10.8.x after an hour or so after restarting your comptuer that would be a great sign that it should be working. If not I'll force it to update and license remotely.

Hi Peet,

I’ve rebooted – I’ll need my computer until about 11am or so (super flexible after that time), so if you need to get on and do some updates remotely, that would be the best timing for me. And if you choose  "Yes, for me only" it hangs? have you tried today?

If it's hanging on "Yes, for me only", could you please try "Yes, for all users"? You should be prompted to elevate your privileges after that and please do answer that you are asking for elevated privileges. After you ask, I can allow the request permanently.

I chose for all users – then it stopped responding and I got the little circle that spins FOREVER.

Please try running the PDF Xchange app as an administrator by right clicking and choosing "Run as administrator..." then try again to activate for all.

I'll need to aprove the request to run as administrator and may not be able to until after 1.
