Hi Peet,

Below are very important emails from a person that Nicole and Grant have been communicating with through outlook for over a year. Recent emails from [email protected] have been going to the spam folder. What can be done to prevent these emails from going to the junk or spam folder? These are really important not to miss.

Thank you,
Emily

Hello Nicole,

Hannes asked me again about possible meeting for tomorrow or answering the last questions related lumber related questions.

It is very important, because he has to present the first proforma with reliable figures.

Awaiting your invitation or the answered questions below.

Thank you

Regards

Heimo

Hello all,

This morning I had a phone call with Hannes regarding the missing information for the meeting on Friday.

For logs and by-products, everything is fine. If possible, we can arrange a meeting with Bill Carlson for the CHP plant during one of the available slots below.
More important are the answers mentioned from the PML folks, and possibly a meeting with the PML sales organization.

Lumber-related questions:

- For each of the three species:

- What 1-by products did they sell in the past, and what were the net sizes (e.g., 0.75 x 3.5)?
- Were all 1-by products planed, or did they also sell some rough? If yes, what were the net rough sizes?
- For 1-by:

- What was the share of "D" and "C&Btr" grades (if any) for Ponderosa Pine and Lodgepole Pine lumber? Do "D" and "C&Btr" grades only come from large-diameter sections of the logs? If yes, from what log diameter can we expect to see "D" and "C&Btr" grades?
- What percentage was #2&Btr, #3, and #4?
- For 2-by:

- What percentage was #2&Btr and #3?
- How accurate do you think Random Lengths’ Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir, and Lodgepole Pine prices are? Can the published prices be trusted?

Availability from Hannes:

- Friday, Dec 5th: 16:00–18:00 CET
- Tuesday, Dec 9th: 18:30–21:00 CET
- Wednesday, Dec 10th: 18:30–19:30 CET
- Thursday, Dec 11th: 20:00–21:00 CET

I've tried to determin exactly why mail from this domain is going to spam, but I'm not seeing anything glaringly wrong about it.

Since its a single email address, the easiest way to ensure it is not sent to your junk email is to add the sender to your contancts and Exchange will be much more gracious with email from that address. If that's not enough to keep the sender out of your junk, you can add them directly to your "Safe senders and domains" on outlook for the web. (For some reason, Microsoft only exposes this list on the webinterface and not in Outlook.app)

https://outlook.office.com/mail/[email protected]/options/mail/junkEmail

Please let me know if you have any issues after adding [email protected] or speed.at to your safe senders.

Just noting here what i sent to Grant:

I’ve put a rule in place to allow all DMARC-passing mail from speed.at to bypass junk filtering. DMARC is the internet standard used to verify that email is genuinely sent on behalf of a domain and is configured by the organization that owns that domain. There’s some nuance under the hood, but the important part is that every message I can see from [email protected] is passing DMARC, so this should fully resolve messages from that domain being marked as spam.

This should aleveate the need for the "Trusted Senders", but considering the importance belt and suspenders never hurt.
