#36468 Issue with Printing

Hello,

When trying to print a document, from any program (word, excel, bing, chrome, etc) it takes my laptop about 2 to 5 minutes to "connect to printer", and then after it does, whatever program I'm running crashes, and nothing prints. I have to CTRL/ALT/DLT to get anything to happen.

This did not start happening until after the last update.

I restarted the computer, it finished some updates, I tried again, still no luck. I signed in using the big password. My guess would be a driver of some kind got all messed up in the update or something, but I don't have admin access to check that.

Let me know what you need to do.

Finally got this message after trying again. Don't know what to change because the setup seems fine otherwise. Computer crashed again this morning trying to print.

Also, not sure if it's related or not, but every time I save a PDF file (Save a copy -> Browse -> File Format PDF -> Save) it brings up a dialogue box "connecting to printer"... the file wont open on my screen until I hit the "cancel" button on that dialogue box.

This one was a brain bender, but I think I may have sorted out the root cause. Please give printing a go and let me know if you have the issue again. If it's fixed, this all comes doen to Microsoft Defender having a false positive on the key bit of software that handles local Cloudflare routing.

Sounds like it was a bear to get to. Thanks again for finding it. I know Amanda's computer has been having the exact same trouble that mine was having with printing. Would this fix have solved the problem for both of us or just me?
