#36230 Internet Use from Outside the Company

Peet,

I've got an event I'm working on booking for the taproom in January. One of their requests is an ethernet connection to the internet, I would assume, for speed and stability as they would be streaming the event live and don't want to rely on wi-fi. I ran into this request a lot when I was doing events for the HGI and the DoubleTree.

I know we have a lot of tight security on our internet - if someone from outside our network hooked into the internet via ethernet connection, would they be able to access the internet? - or would they be blocked somehow? If they were going to be blocked, do we have a way around or through that?

Just noting we chatted on the phone for this one. Give me a decent heads up and we can get them connected via ethernet on their own VLAN. Like I mentioned, it's just your Charter commodity cable internet, so that should be the expectation for the level of Internet service.
