Do you see the path to the file in Quickbooks? Can you navigate to the file directly and open it.?

From what I can tell this is a file path issue and you may have created a filename and path that is too long for Acrobat to handle. Breaking path length limits has happened before with documents you've attached that have exceedingly long filenames. A filename in Windows can be 255 characters. An entire path. from c:\ on is limited to 260characters.

Hi Peet,

My file names are not that long. Unfortunately, I don’t remember what I was trying to look at, so I will just have to follow up if and when it happens again.

Thanks!

Looks like your longest filenames on disk are ~150 and with the ~90 characters that are included in the base path to any of your QuickBooks attachments, which comes in under the 260-character limit.

If you get the file name from QuickBooks, you can search C:\Users\lscaggs\Qbox\FRP\QB\Attach\{Name of QB Company}\ to see if it's on your drive. I believe there's a copy of the file on disk or Quickbooks\Adobe Acrobat would just error that it does not exist.
