Hey Peet,

I was wondering if there is a workaround for me to get on the First Security Bank wifi. I continue to get an error screen. I am using my hotspot, but I would love to be able to use there wifi instead. Please let me know!

Emily,

I would need more information about the error. Could you provide the text of the error and a description of the steps that your taking before recieving the error message. If the folks that support the WiFi network at First Security Bank are available, they may be the fastest route to getting connected.

It looks like to do anything I need an administrator password. In the picture I sent it recommends turning off my private wifi address but I need an administrator for that and to run the diagnostics.

Running diagnostics will not change the connection issue, but if you'd like to run the diagnostics, you can elivate your user to an administrator for 10minutes by running the Application "Priviliges.app" from the /Applicatons folder. Once your account is elevated, it will remain so for 10 minutes and you can use your username and password to perform an administrative task like running the diagnostics.

I've pulled the wifi logs from your device from the last few hours and it's a bit much to parse, and I'm not seeing any obvious issues. I've hit my limit on the ability to troubleshoot the connection from the client side. The folks that manage/support the network would have more insight.

I'm sorry I missed your attached picture of your screen. The full .heic image file was not handled well by my ticketing system. You could find it easier to use the built-in screenshot capabilities of macOS. https://support.apple.com/en-us/102646https://support.apple.com/en-us/102646

Screenshots on macOS are saved as .png's and are quite a bit smaller than a full .heic iPhone photo.
