My phone is constantly telling me my 1 password sinc failed. Is that an issue?

Without a deep dive into the why here, an uninstall and reinstall of 1Password on your phone would likely fix the issue. Just make sure your next to one of your computers to get the 1Password encryption key pin for your relogin. (Think of it as an MFA that only an existed trusted 1Password login can give you.)
